Requirements for LED modules

LEDs range in voltage from 2-9V and have a wide power range. The specific LED to choose depends on the technical requirements of the module as a product. For example, if an LED module needs to output 10lm of light, two LEDs would be better for appearance, so 5lm LEDs could be selected. Combining factors such as color (LED voltage is related to color), temperature, and quality will help find a suitable LED for the product.

For LED modules used in general lighting, their performance must meet the requirements of the national standard GB/T 24823-2024 "Performance Specification for LED Modules for General Lighting". For special applications such as road/tunnel lighting, the specifications and interfaces of the LED modules must also meet corresponding technical requirements, such as a dustproof and waterproof rating of no less than IP66, safety compliance with GB/T 24819, and clear regulations regarding mechanical, optical, electrical, thermal, and control interfaces.
